This limited release Gesha variety comes from producer Oscar Garcia and his farm, San Isidro, in San Agustín, Huila. San Augustín has very high altitudes, fantastic soils and a vibrant culture for specialty coffee. With this offering, we’re fascinated by the delicate floral and tropical fruit notes. Expect to find notes of soft pineapple and citrus, jasmine, a pop of Champagne grape, star fruit and a sweetness akin to a vanilla-glazed pastry.

Gesha is a rare and highly prized coffee varietal known for its exceptional cup quality, floral aromatics and delicate, tea-like body. Originally discovered in the Gori Gesha forest of Ethiopia, the varietal was later cultivated in Central America, gaining global recognition after Panama’s Hacienda La Esmeralda showcased its extraordinary flavor profile in the early 2000s.

Gesha coffees are frequently characterized by vibrant acidity, jasmine-like florals and complex fruit notes, making them a favorite in high-end specialty coffee competitions. Due to its low yield, susceptibility to disease, and the meticulous care required for cultivation and processing, Gesha commands premium prices and is sought after by coffee enthusiasts worldwide.
