Perched on the western side of Hoja Blanca, near the Mexico–Guatemala border, Finca El Regalito rises along steep ridgelines shaded by Chalum, Mandarín, and Capulin trees. Bourbon, Caturra, and Maragogype coffee plants thrive here, nourished by pure mountain spring water used in the washing process.
El Regalito is a true family farm. Arturo Villatoro, together with his son Vielmann, tends the land with care and vision. Vielmann brings a unique perspective to his work—shaped by more than a decade spent in Los Angeles, where he picked fruit before returning home. The contrast in labor conditions inspired his commitment to family farming, and since returning he has expanded the farm with new drying patios, worker housing, and additional land. Today, Arturo, Vielmann, his wife, and siblings cultivate El Regalito with the intention of passing the farm to the next generation.
We love El Regalito because it captures what makes Guatemalan coffees so special: clean sweetness, balance and clarity in the cup. Its chocolate depth, refreshing fruit character and lively finish make it a standout example of the region.
